We even had a friend come from Vancouver to see the torch in our community. It showed to me that no matter what else is going on we citizens can come together to make something positive happen. It was magical seeing all of the lights up and down Sunnyside Road, and our grandson will always remember the morning he got up in the dark to watch the Olympic torch go by his house. I have never seen so many people involved in a community event. Thanks to Councilor Kerri Issak, the Fire Department, the Youth Committee and all of the volunteers for a great breakfast and an incredible once-in-a-lifetime event. <em>(editor's note: "This submission is the opinion of the author, and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Anmore Times, it's editors and volunteers.")</em> Yesterday was a fabulous morning.
