Anmore Candidates for Mayor Announced

The period for nomination of candidates for Mayor ended today, April 9th at 4 pm.  The Village of Anmore has officially announced 3 candidates for Mayor. 

Heather Anderson is a longtime Anmore resident and part-time teacher at Dr. Charles Best secondary. She served as an Anmore Councillor for 15 years between 1993 and 2008.  She currently sits on the Anmore Board of Variance Committee and the Anmore Daycare Committee.  (Heather Anderson Announcement for Mayor, Update: Heather Anderson’s web site: www.heatheranderson.ca )

Arthur Crossman is a non-resident who currenlty resides in Coquitlam.  He has run in several elections throughout the Tri-Cities and beyond.  His latest run was for the mayor’s seat in Port Moody in 2008 and a council seat in PoCo.

Robert Tribe has lived in Anmore since 2007 and has spent most of his career working in the planning, design and construction of civil engineering projects.  He is currently co-chair of the Anmore Daycare Committee. (Robert Tribe Announcement for Mayor)

Advanced voting will be on May 5th and election day will be May 15th.
