School District Trustees have been busy over the summer trying to finalize a location for the proposed Heritage Mountain Middle School.  

Discussions earlier this year had the school marked for construction in Port Moody near Heritage Woods Secondary School, but a recent announcement by SD43 has the $28 million project back in Anmore near it’s original location.  The school will be built to LEED Gold standards and is expected to open in 2013.  The school will have a capacity of 450 students. 

For those interested in finding out more information about the project, the School District has announced an open house for September 21st (6-8) at Heritage Woods Secondary School.  Further details about the replacement of Moody Middle School will be provided in October.
