16 April – No Garden Club meeting (our meetings are usually the third Monday of each month, unless otherwise stated).

04 May – Susan Tufts’s Plant Sale in South Surrey. Healthy perennials, many for shade, superb prices (details of how to get there to be announced).

14 May – Hybrid Roses – Langley rose breeder Brad Jalbert talks about new and upcoming very disease resistant roses. If you don’t want to use toxic chemicals on your roses,  these are the roses to get. Talk to be at Anmore Elementary School, 7:00 p.m. Tickets at the door, $5.00.

21 May – No Garden Club meeting (Victoria Day).
